All Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) interest rates and available discounts are subject to change at any time.
Housing Assistance and Home Improvement Programs 5.95% Base Rate*
Base rate applies to all loans with a term of greater than 15 years. Loans available up to $359,650
One deed of trust with two notes. Maximum TVLB note is $325,000 with second note for up to eligible limit.
Second note can be VA or conventional.

Interest Rate Discounts
(One or more of the following discounts may apply if qualifying criteria are met.)

Discount for loans with a term of 15 or fewer years: -0.25%
Interest Rate Discount for Veterans with 50%+ Disability: -0.35%
Qualified Service Era Discount (Restricted Pool): -1.49%*

All new construction loans must meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Energy Star® rating
as an energy efficient home to be eligble for purchase. Please click here for information and affidavit.

Land Program
All eligible Texas veterans: 7.25% interest rate

* Veterans Land Board (VLB) Base Rate is subject to adjustment on the first business day of each week.

	Please Note:
1.	If more than one rate lock is obtained in a twelve month period, the highest locked rate will prevail.
2.	Housing loans are available with 15, 20, 25 or 30-year terms. Home Improvement loans are available with two to 20-year terms.
3.	The Veterans with Disabilities Discount applies to veterans with a compensable disability rated at fifty percent or greater by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. A complete description of the program's qualification guidelines is available on the Veterans with Disabilities web page.
4.	The Service Era Discount applies to veterans who served on active duty prior to January 1, 1977 and have been discharged from active duty fewer than 30 years.
